Black and gold stamp for "The Garrison pub"
The owner of The Garrison Pub requested an exterior sign that would align with the visual identity of her pub, inspired by British aesthetics and the atmosphere of the series Peaky Blinders. The goal was to create a sign that maintains a sophisticated yet authentic look, striking enough to attract attention, yet elegant enough to blend seamlessly with the pub’s vintage-urban tone.
When designing and producing the sign, we focused on durability, character, and visual harmony with the existing façade elements. The solution included:
A black Alucobond base, an aluminum composite material known for its resistance to moisture, UV radiation, and physical damage - an ideal foundation for outdoor signage that needs to be long-lasting and maintain its appearance.
Gold plexiglass lettering, chosen to create a three-dimensional and reflective effect. The gold color adds a touch of elegance and stands out clearly against the dark background.
Typography inspired by Old English fonts, further reinforcing the pub’s theme and the connection to the Peaky Blinders series.
The installation was carried out with special care, using discreet metal brackets and secure fastening methods that left the facade undamaged.
Why this design?
Aesthetics: The combination of black Alucobond and gold plexiglass ensures visual recognition while maintaining a sophisticated tone.
Durability: The chosen materials guarantee resistance to outdoor conditions and require minimal maintenance.
Consistency with the interior: The interior itself is rich with carefully selected details—from industrial lamps and brick walls to themed photographs and the British flag—so it was important that the exterior sign “tells the same story.”
As soon as you step into The Garrison, it becomes clear why it’s important for the exterior to reflect the venue’s character. The walls, combining exposed brick and deep green tones, decorative industrial lighting, photographs of British and Sarajevo-inspired scenes, and details like a guitar and vintage car- all are thoughtfully designed to create an authentic and warm atmosphere.
Our sign at the entrance serves as the opening scene of that film - a visual preview of the experience inside.
